The organizers are expecting an increased participation of companies presenting the latest developments and technologies in the field of trucks and commercial vehicles at Komtrans in Astana. Among the already announced participants of Futuroad Expo Astana / Komtrans 2024 are Truck Motors, Trans Starter, SVS-TRANS, Truck Service Kazakhstan, Virazh and others.

Commercial and road construction equipment market in Kazakhstan

Last year's exhibition attracted more than 10,500 visitors from different countries interested in product groups such as trucks and vans, special vehicles, components and spare parts, buses and minivans, all-terrain vehicles and off-road vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, loaders, hoists and cranes, road construction machinery.

The shortage of quality and safe equipment in the market of trucks, tractors and buses in Kazakhstan is felt significantly. The volume of production in this segment in the country is still small - only 7.8 thousand trucks and 1.4 thousand buses were produced in 2022.

Vice-Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Ospanov, noted that the issue with the obsolete fleet of buses has become so acute that it is going to be solved with the help of revolving funds of the program of preferential auto lending. According to him, the need for new buses is about 2 thousand units per year.

At the same time, it is necessary to establish regional service networks and provide international customers with reliable after-sales service and uninterrupted access to spare parts. This aspect is key to the development of the automotive industry in the region.

New investments in Kazakhstan's road infrastructure

The government of Kazakhstan plans to allocate 15 billion dollars to develop the country's road infrastructure over the next six years.

Transport Minister Marat Karabayev emphasized at the New Silk Way international transport and logistics business forum that the strategic move is aimed at improving the efficiency of freight transportation between China and Europe. Plans include the construction and reconstruction of five thousand kilometers of new roads over the next five to ten years to create a full-fledged transit hub between China and Russia, as well as China and Europe.

Given the huge interest and relevance, Futuroad Expo Astana / Komtrans 2024 invites all interested participants and visitors to join this important event.

This exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the advanced developments and technologies in the field of commercial transportation, discuss current trends and prospects of the industry.
