Grand opening of Automechanika Astana, Futuroad Expo / Komtrans Astana 2024

Today on April 17, Astana hosted the official opening of the most significant events in the automotive and transport industry - Automechanika Astana and Futuroad Expo / Komtrans Astana.

This event, which brought together the leading players in the automotive industry, as well as representatives of government and public organizations, is a key platform for discussing and promoting the latest trends and developments in the field of auto parts, equipment and maintenance.

The opening ceremony held at the EXPO International Exhibition Center attracted a wide audience, including government representatives, company executives and journalists. The participants of the exhibition had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements of the industry presented at the stands of various companies and organizations.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Yerkinbaev, President of the Kazakhstan Automobile Union A. Makasheva, Senior Vice President, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH Stephan Kurzawski, Vice President, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH M. Johannes, General Director of Logistic Network Consultants GmbH Stefan Schroeder, Member of the Board - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Atameken, M. Amrin, Chairman of the Committee of Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Panbaev, General Director of MEIJI SANGYO COMPANY Mr. Hajime Hayashi - General Sponsor of Automechanika Astana, Deputy General Director of the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan KAZLOGISTICS Zh. Zhagparov, member of the Board of Directors of "Business Media Central Asia" Eugen Alles.

On this day the exhibition was visited by one more important guest, the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Yermek Marzhikpaev. The Minister visited the exposition of exhibitions, tuned cars zone and street exposition.

"This event provides a unique opportunity to meet and exchange experiences between leading industry players, as well as promote business development and strengthen partnerships", said Mr. Michael Johannes, Vice President of Messe Frankfurt Group.

Mr. Eugen Alles, Member of the Board of Directors of Business Media Central Asia, noted the contribution of participants, visitors and sponsors to the development of the project.
Mr. Alles has separately informed that Automechanika Astana has transferred significant funds to the account of the corporate fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna", which will allow to provide assistance to the inhabitants of the regions affected by the natural disaster.

There are QR codes at the exhibition, by which visitors can directly transfer charitable aid for the construction of houses in rural areas regardless of the region.

Automechanika Astana will continue its work until April 19, providing participants and visitors with an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technologies, products and solutions in the sphere of automotive industry.
